My diploma came in the mail yesterday. Hooray! Now I can truly call myself a librarian. All that’s left now is to find a job in a notoriously bad market, but I did it once; maybe lightning will strike twice.

congratulations. now put it someplace safe because I gave mine to my parents, and I don’t have any idea where it went after that. (’cause they’re old and don’t remember where they put it.)
Thanks! Right now it’s sitting on the dining room table. I intend to get a frame for it, if nothing else to keep it from getting dusty or torn while it sits in storage.
That thing is huge, though–11″ x 14″, which is something like twice the size of my undergrad diploma. I couldn’t lose it if I tried.
